Project Overview
The product is a food waste prevention system which is targeting schools, kindergartens and similar institutions to help them save food waste and money.
The system consists of FWC (Food Waste Control) and two android applications, PWT (Plate Waste Tracker) and FWT (Food Waste Tracker).
The client apps are connected to scale via Bluetooth and they send information in real time to the FWC which processes the same and delivers reports to the system users.
The biggest challenges in this project were the Bluetooth communication with scales and making the system robust and easily maintainable.
